Sharp Tools as Art

The knife is one of the most basic tools that we as creatures with opposable thumbs have ever chipped out of rock, flint, obsidian, and now S30V, D2 and other materials... As a person who likes good design in life and has enjoyed blades since single digit age, this is a fun endeavor - photographing my blades as art... Oh, and you'll notice that these knives are not pristine museum pieces or safe-dwellers. For me, having a tool and not using it at least a little is just plain wrong. Someday, I want to do a series on "well loved" knives - I think they tell stories...
